Enjoy every turn in the powder and the solitude of uncrowded terrain. Don’t wait for lift lines or busy slopes.
Skinning is the most efficient way to propel yourself uphill. It is a crucial skill for ski touring in the backcountry. This is skiing freedom at it’s best.
How we’ll proceed
The tour is one day, price offers backcountry guiding, techniques for touring and an avalanche workshop for minimum 2 maximum 4 participants. As a prerequisite you must be comfortable making parallel turns on red slopes.
First step
We will begin by gliding uphill on a gentle slope. You will learn how to put on your skins, how to make turns and how freeride skiing is different from piste skiing.
How you’ll leave
There are enough new routes to last a life time. During our lesson with simple recommendations to make ski touring fun and safe you will gain the necessary knowledge to asses your riding level and to make the necessary adjustments for your progression.
